How You Can Get Involved
Curriculum
Education is the building block of any fundamental change in society. The Visions for Tomorrow campaign provides these lesson plans to inspire and empower students to look at tomorrow through the lens of science fiction and to be creative in how they can think about and help solve society’s pressing issues. One of the lessons helps students determine how much energy they use, and what it’s being used for, giving them a better understanding of themselves as consumers and helping them to recognize ways in which they can reduce their average energy usage every day. Isn’t that an exercise from which we might all benefit?
After exploring journeys (both physical and mental) that result in a change or self-discovery, students will write poems that symbolize a personal journey that forever changed them.
